PR for Writers (PRFW) is an international public relations firm dedicated to the advancement of authors, filmmakers, and musicians. Founded in 1990 as a subdivision of Anthony Mora Communications, Inc., we specialize in media placement, brand development, media training, and social media marketing. Anthony Mora (Founder, CEO) Anthony Mora, founder and head of Anthony Mora Communications and PR for Writers, began his media career as a freelance journalist and magazine editor. He co-founded Phillips & Mora Entertainment, a public relations and personal management company, which ventured into video and film production. In 1990, he formed Mora Communications, Inc., a Los Angeles-based media relations company that specializes in media placement, image development, and media training. His firm has placed clients in Time, Newsweek, 60 Minutes, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, the Oprah Winfrey Show, The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and other local, national, and international media outlets. The author of two non-fiction books, The Alchemy of Success and Spin to Win, a step-by-step guide on how to define goals and utilize the power of the media, Anthony has been featured in USA Today, Newsweek, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC, CNN, Entrepreneur, Fox News, MSNBC, and more. His first novel, Bang: A Love Story was also adapted for the theatre and played in Los Angeles and New York. Anthony has had five plays produced and is currently working on a new novel tentatively titled His Better Self.
Analise Electra Smith-Hinkley (Senior Account Executive) Analise is a marketing and PR professional specializing in writing, viral and social media marketing, UXD, and brand management. Across 10 years of experience, she has managed Marketing and Communications for the service, music, and nonprofit industries, and spent five years at UC Berkeley serving ultimately as Marketing Director of their alumni association. She relocated to Los Angeles to write for film and commercial production before returning to public relations, and has worked on campaigns for high-profile clients including Red Bull, Target, NPR, Lagunitas, Tide, Xbox, the San Francisco Giants, Captain Morgan, and Billboard Music Awards.
Christine Keefer Soderbergh (Senior Account Executive) Keefer Soderbergh is a public relations specialist with over 20 years of professional experience. Through media connections that are continuously growing, fostered, and utilized, Keefer Soderbergh bridges the gap between businesses and the general public, delivering aggressive and effective PR campaigns. She is highly skilled in identifying, strategizing, and capitalizing on current trends to develop creative story angles. Josh Weissman (Senior Account Executive) Josh is a Marketing, Promotions, Public Relations, and Event Management professional with 15+ years’ experience. Over the span of his career, Josh has had significant roles in planning and executing campaigns for clients including Crown Royal, Captain Morgan, PlayStation2, Marlboro Team Penske, and EdvantExpo.
